Bach flower therapy

In Bach flower therapy, preparations obtained from flowers are primarily used to prevent and treat complaints. The focus is particularly on the emotional state of the client. In my practice I only use essences from PHIEssence . I also use not only Bach flower essences but also other essences from nature.

The use of flower essences goes back to the English physician and homeopath Edward Bach (1886-1936). After graduating, he first worked as a surgeon and medical director of the casualty ward at University College Hospital, later he worked at the Royal London Homeopathic Hospital. The use of flower essences goes back to the English physician and homeopath Edward Bach (1886-1936). After graduating, he first worked as a surgeon and medical director of the casualty ward at University College Hospital, later he worked at the Royal London Homeopathic Hospital. There he continued his research on vaccines and developed his own homeopathic nosodes. These were remedies made from gut bacteria and diluted according to homeopathic rules. In 1920 Edward Bach opened a practice in London. He gave this up in 1930 and retired to Wales to develop his own healing method. In the years that followed, he sought and developed his herbal remedies and began to make his findings known to the public through publications and lectures.

In the meantime, Bach flower therapy has become widespread in many countries and numerous new flower remedies have been created from other plants.

Edward Bach believed that all illnesses were caused by a mental imbalance. In his view, every illness is based on a negative emotional state. That is why the treatment of the respective emotional problems is the focus of Bach flower therapy.

Bach developed a system of a total of 38 disharmonious mental states of human nature such as fear, insecurity, loneliness, hypersensitivity or impatience. He assigned 38 flower extracts to these states of mind, which can cause certain symptoms. The energetic powers of the flower essences are said to have a positive influence on negative emotions and thus contribute to the harmonization of body and mind.
